Dispite the $12 cover this event drew quite a crowd. There was a line of people a long side the building, down the drive way and down the sidewalk. It did not sell out as expected, but Club Caprice was very close to capacity.

The night had some special guests as well. They included Eddie Nichols and Mando of Royal Crown Revue, Artie Shaw and his wife, and a group of old time dancers that Eddie Reed brought in.

Other highlights of the night are Eddie Nichols pulling a few Big Band members together to play a few numbers, a few duets with Eddie Reed and Eddie Nichols, and a little performance by the Rugcutters.
