Despite some improvement in the quality of this band over the last several months, they are still only so-so. This is most likely due to the fact that they are just to small to be playing most of the arrangements they now attempt. I am sure they would benefit greatly by adding just a few pieces to the band.

Their book now consists mainly of stock arrangements from the big band era. Which, in of it's self is good stuff, but again, it's to much for their scaled down band. The vocals also need improvement as well, as their current singer is just not capable of reproducing that great authentic 40's tone.

One thing I did enjoy about this band is that they are very danceable. Don't expect any really fun, fast, unique stuff  though, just mainly medium paced danceable music. Which of course gets boring, but oh well. So, I would now say that paying about five bucks to see this band is acceptable, but seeing them for free (like at Twin Palms, Pasadena) is a good deal.

This band has a typical jump blues chart selection, however the musicians are good even though they only stay in the band it seems for a few weeks before leaving.

The vocalist Vickie McClure has allot of talent, even though as a dancer, vocals don't go very far for me. The drummer plays a bit loud and I don't think he understands what it means to be a swing or jump blues drummer (he probably has a back ground in rock).

If there is nothing going on, they are worth 5 bucks... I guess. That would put them in scoring somewhere between a F+ and F-.
